I'm on Twitter as it's a way of publicising articles in the newspaper I work for and readers "tweet" us with stories - but I also use it to keep in touch with colleagues, former workmates, family etc. For those of you unfamiliar with Twitter, people "follow" you and you can "follow" them back if you want to. If you decide you've had enough of their inane twitterings, you can "unfollow".
In the spirit of politeness I today followed someone called Lanie who had followed me. Then out of curiosity looked at her last tweet. It said: "F**k my p**sy."
Oh Lord. Unfollow.
